Artist's Comments

Another glass render, this one set up to create a challenging raytrace scenario to compare speed on two different machines. I think it probably has too much contrast... Softimage XSI and Mental Ray.

surreal. very cool for a test scenario.

I didn't understand a single thing in your description other than "glass render", nonetheless, this is an interesting image. I didn't notice that they weren't solid blocks, but were on "legs" instead, which added a nice design to the render, definitely agree that it'd be awful cool to walk in between and under these glass "pillars", although I can imagine you'd get lost easily.

Very nice image, I think the contrast is just fine. I'm afraid to even imagine how long something like this would take to render on my computer.

... challenging to say the least, the multiple densities are mindboggling... how long did the render take?
